Benefits of henna to hair

1. Colouring of the hair : Henna is a natural plant that has a reddish-brown colour. It is a great alternative to hair color for those who are allergic to chemicals and want a herbal alternative. Mixing henna with other natural plants give you a great and desirable results. Henna is also a good source for people who want to get rid of their gray hair. Since henna acts as a natural dye for the hair, it protects the hair from damage. Henna can even reverse the damage caused by hair treatments on hair. And it does not have any side effects.
2. Natural sunscreen: Henna coats the hair strands semi permanently thus giving protection to hair from sun-damage and pollution. Mostly, the use of Henna on the hair protects it from sun and dust.
3. Conditioner: Henna is a great conditioner for the hair. It nourishes the hair and makes the hair look smooth and beautiful, thereby improves hair growth. Henna mix nourishes the hair from scalp to hair tip and leave hair stronger and healthier.
4. Anti-dandruff : Another astonishing use of henna is that it serves as antiseptic, astringent, antibacterial and anti-fungal. It helps in eliminating dandruff, head lice and other scalp infection. A regular and direct application of henna helps keep dandruff and itchiness at bay.
